Darren is a proud Wreck Bay community man, inheriting centuries of culture, history, and spirit that guide his leadership style. He manages all of ALI Civil’s operations, working closely with his team on accountability, estimating, quoting, networking with clients, and stakeholder engagement.

Darren’s extensive industry knowledge, environmental awareness, and dedication to quality management systems ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard. Under his guidance, ALI Civil continues to expand into residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, always with professionalism and cultural respect at the core.

With more than two decades of experience in civil construction, Cohen Jirgens has built a reputation for excellence, innovation, and sustainable development. As Managing Director, Cohen has overseen a diverse range of projects, from urban infrastructure upgrades to large-scale residential developments. He is committed to blending state-of-the-art technology with proven construction practices, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
